Theresa (Teri) Hermel-Davidock is the Worldwide Director for Core Technologies Research & Development group for the Medication & Procedural Solutions (MPS) business of Becton, Dickenson and Company (BD).Her team is responsible for development and implementation of new materials technologies for the over $3.5 Billon MPS global product portfolio.

Teri joined BD as a material engineer in 2010 and soon transitioned to an R&D management role, developing and growing her organization to what it is today.Prior to joining BD, Teri spent over seven years at the Dow Chemical Company.

Teri is on the academic advisory boards for the Materials Science & Engineering Departments at Johns Hopkins University and the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.She has been an invited speaker to numerous universities and international conferences, as well as the author of many publications and inventor on multiple patent filings.Teri received her doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
